Ellen Pennock had her first podium in a Triathlon Canada Junior Elite National Series event, placing second. Ellen was most excited about winning the swim stage and going out of T1 with a 40 second lead on the rest of the field. Her overall time was 1:05:28, behind Joanna Brown of Ontario at 1:05:07.
 


Russell Pennock competed in the 14-15 draft legal race and placed 4th. However in a bizarre twist of events, 16 of the 20 boys, including the top five, were all disqualified, because they missed a buoy by following a paddle boarder who took them off course.
