By: JP - Aug. 10, 2008

Cascade swimmer Jillian Tyler finished 6th in her semi-final tonight and ended up 13th overall in the women's 100m breaststroke.

Congratulations to Jillian on the fine performances so far in her first Olympic Games.

In other team Canada news the Canadian Men finished in 6th place overall in the 4x100 FR - swimming just 3/100th off of the  old world record and setting a new Canadian record in the process. Brent Hayden led the team out in 47.56 seconds (only 6/100ths of a second off of the old world record). Eamon Sullivan of Australia broke the world record in his lead-out leg with a 47.24.
