        2012 CASCADE SUMMER PROGRAMS

Summer Camps-Cascade's Olympic Way Program for 5-9 year-old swimmers*

This summer camp provides a 'step up' from swim lessons. Swimmers will be separated into small sub-groups according to their age and ability. We will focus on the importance of proper stroke technique in order to make your swimmer as proficient and comfortable in the water as possible.
We will start off each day with 15min of stretching and pool prep, followed by one hour of swimming. From there we will have a hot tub break, get changed, have a snack (swimmers must provide their own snack) and head to the gym until noon.

Our coaches:
  Our experienced coaches are all previous or current competitive swimmers and have been members of the Cascade coaching staff in years past.
*The only skill requirement is that swimmers in these camps must be comfortable in deep water and able to float on their own.

Top 10 Reasons Why Your Swimmer Should Join the Cascade Swim Club Summer Camp;
1) It's fun!
2) Great introduction to competitive swimming
3) Learn from experienced coaches
4) Improve swimming technique
5) Build endurance
6) Be part of the best under 18 swim club in Canada
7) Meet new friends
8) Create a healthy lifestyle
9) Try a new sport
10) It's never too early to start training for the 2024 Olympic Games!!
